Multimax Maintenance for parts of Girne tomorrow/Saturday

Hello People,

There will be some maintenance work scheduled for one of our main hubs in Girne starting 10am Saturday, 24 Sept 2011.



As a result, the following areas may experience intermittent connections or downtimes during this maintenance period:



North (Lower) Kyrenia

Karakum

Ozankoy/Catalkoy

Esentepe

Kucuk Erenkoy

Tatlisu



The maintenance should last no more than 3 hours (actual downtime may be much shorter).



The reason for this maintenance is to improve east-to-west connections by improving capacity and adding more redundancy to our network.



We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

Maintenance work has just been officially finalized. (1:57pm, Sept 24, 20100) K.



As per the Murphy's Laws of luck, we had our UPS blown out at our head end while we were performing this maintenance, which required us to divert attention and manpower. This unexpected failure has caused all of Multimax customers to get affected and be without internet for approx 45 minutes and delayed this scheduled maintenance.
