ganga - i too have had the same problem for a few weeks with ITV - ch4 and 5 are quite bad at times as well. I have emailed myvpn and they respond quickly and after their checks they say the problem is with the ISP/connection this end. It was also a problem when we were using Nethouse own vpn -which is no longer working. I am fed up with emailing Nethouse about the problems - get no response at all or they just ask you to send them page print of speedtest and your user name - once you have done that then you still get no response !!!!

I have just tested ITV with multimax maxTV service (built in vpn) and it seems to be working fine. This means that the TTnet(Turkish Telekom) is ok and the most logical assumption from what is stated is that the problem must be with your ISP delivery to you. K.

Just for info ITV Player has been having problems recently, the most widely reported are due to 'Downton Abbey' as seen here to give one example. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/8773100/Downton-Abbey-viewers-crash-ITV-Player.html There are also quite alot of reports of problems with 'Rugby World Cup' from users of ITV Player in the UK. In my experience they just do not have the same level of 'capacity' to handle simultaneaous streams as services like BBC iPlayer and Sky Go seem to have. Of all the UK based online TV services they are the least well equiped to handle heavy loads it seems to me and this matches my personal experience over last few years. They had well documented problems when they were showing the last World Cup. With both Downton Abbey demand and Rugby World Cup I would guess that some of the issues people are having recently are nothing to do with their own net connections and much to do with lack of capacity at ITV's end.
