My car mot is due shortly. I have been told that the price has doubled to over 200tl. Is this true or just a rumour

Make sure that you check at the garage as to when your vehicle is due.

Our last MOT was in the November and we assumed it would be re done in November but found it was due in September so we were fined 50tl for being nearly three months late.

So having paid for three years MOT we received two years and nine months plus had to pay an extra 50tl.

If you go to the tax office the dates are displayed there then you wont get caught out.

Go to any garage that do MOT's and they have the list.

Did ours Thursday, get emissions test first cost 25tl. Then go to tax office 105tl. From there go to MOT station, he checked tyres, lights, seat belts, indicators, brakes etc. Job done!
