Where in Girne can I buy a product that removes the lime scale that forms on the inside of electric kettles and coffee filter machines. Have looked in all the main super markets, with no luck.

Have you looked in the right place .. There is a product called "OUST All Purpose Descaler" and is sold in most supermarkets .. Usually it is on the bottom shelf with detergents .. A kettle & iron is on the front of the box ..

In the supermarket is a product called 'Por Coz' pour a little into the kettle swill it round and wash it well before you use it for tea. it is quite strong acid, so watch your eyes and skin carefully, but does the job superbly. it also dissolves grout and marble worktops, so do be careful

The best one by far is Calcor.. It's about 6-7TL for 750ml and does a fantastic job.
