There are countless 'unoffical' sites that 're stream' content from sources like ITV and BBC via sites that do not have geographical restrictions. The problem is they are all transitory, usually working for a short while before getting closed down one way or another. Of course there are countless (illegal) download sources.



There are various 'VPN' options these days for TRNC net users. Both multimax and nethouse networks offer forms of VPN to thier users as part of their net packages. Then there are free VPN services, either add supported or just free ones like Mark offers, or there are pay for VPN services starting from a few pounds a month.

Proxy servers aren't generally as efficient as VPNs and most proxies involve messing about with browser settings before and after logging in ..



BBC iplayer won't allow downloads from most proxies
