Anybody have a telephone number for the hamam or details on what days you can go there, same sex, couples etc.



I went to the one on the south side this week (hamam omierye) and it was ok, but would like to try an authentic Turkish bath by a Turkish person!



Any details would be great as I cant find anything out on the internet.

We popped in for a look around at the end of August to be told by the gentleman that was running it that it was his last day and he did not know if anybody would be taking it over. So on that basis, I would assume that it is now closed.



If, however, it is still open, make sure you let them know you are not a tourist as the prices he originally quoted us were drastically reduced when we told him that we live here.
