We have a couple of new stalls coming to Carpenters market this week, one of them is a house clearance so if you are looking for a bargain come nice and early! I will be there with my pictures as usual, Tina with her lovely scarves and dresses, Dave with his tasty pickles and Ken the pie man. It is also the place to buy tickets for the concert at Bellapais and you can get a delicious lunch at a reasonable price. Come and check us out, we are small but beautiful!!!!!

Just seen the thread posted by 'Selling' about their new stall at Carpenters tomorrow - sounds interesting!

Have always liked Carpenters, it's a lovely atmosphere.

And it's great for stall holders, the restaurant really support the market by allowing stalls for free, I don't know of another place that doesn't charge anything. Makes a refreshing change!

Mike, you also have people asking for directions as to where your market is.

Hi Howard, sorry I couldn't get back to you earlier, after you posted message 6; as my internet went down.

The market is in Karaoglanoglu - from Girne turn right about 60 metres past the Bektas supermarket. From Lapta turn left just a few metres past Bell's frozen food store. The market is just about 150 metres down on the left. Loads of car parking space on the rough ground next to the Carpenters restaurant.

It was great to see Carpenters 'buzzing' again, thanks to the new stallholders, I'm glad you did well and thanks to all of you who made the effort to come along, I hope you enjoyed the atmosphere of our little market and I hope you will come along next week. We have another new stall to look forward to next week - fresh baked cakes and pies and takeaway curries. Now those will REALLY be worth coming along for!!

I will post a reminder next week. Thanks again,

Pam

We are going to Carpenters again tomorrow as it was so good last week. We will have another house clearance stall but with lots of new items and gift ideas. More new Christmas decorations following on from last week. Crockery, slow cooker, toaster, photo frames, candles, cushions, brand new summer tops, crystal glassware, novels, large box of various electric bulbs, table mats and much more. Hope to see you there at the entrance.

We are hoping to have a new stall this week - fresh cakes, pies and take away curries - YUMYUM!!!

Also the usual dvds, Dave with his pickles and jams, books, artwork and Tina pashmina with her lovely dresses. Carpenters is a lovely place to have lunch, they have a nice range on the menu at competitive prices and they are now doing pizzas to take out.

For all of those interested, I had a letter from Maureen last week, she is in good spirits, responding to medication and hoping to be able to come back for a couple of weeks at Christmas. Before she starts her next gruelling bout of treatment in the new year. She sends her thanks to everyone who has emailed her and appreciates all the good positive energy we have all been sending to her.

Hi Pam and Tina,

Thanks for the warm welcome you gave Laura and I last Friday when we visited your market.

We will both be there tomorrow, as discussed, with 2 new food stalls (take-away curries and cakes/pastries/quiches etc.).

See you in the morning,

Barbara
