Does anyone out there how to check a Turkcell 3G account (to find out how many megabytes I used)?

If you send an email writing DURUM and then send it to 1111 it will reply with your remaining credit.

if you had to install the turkcell software that came with the dongal to make it work it gives you a list of usage and balance in there if i remember correctly i would be intrested to hear how you get on with the ipad as i was thinking about getting one, but was unsure

▶ No dongle - it's a subscription I use on my iPhone and share wireless with my iPad (via "HotSpot") as well. iPad: I'm a Mac user since the early eighties and have to say: I've never bought the magic I have now on my iPad! Go to Turkcell in Girne and play with one of the demonstration iPads available - you're hooked within an hour.



Writing about the iPhone and iPad on this board is a bit risky, I'm afraid, because some members obviously get irritated about "gadgets". Well, never mind, the iPad 2 is a GREAT tablet!

I tried 1111/DURUM in a text message and got all the information I wanted. Works fine!
