Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone knew of where i could buy some wool? It doesn't need to be of particularly high quality - i'm knitting some dolls and need lots of colours! Also need filler to stuff them. Any help much appreciated! thanks x

There are two shops in Kyrenia. Park in large car park and walk down the main street. When you get to the cross roads with Altinbas jeweller on the corner: Shp 1 - turn left and just past a little snack bar turn immediately left again up a small alley way. You will find a small haberdashery shop along there at the end of the row of shops. Shop2 - at the same cross roads keep walking straight across. On the left hand side there is a small wool shop about 100yds past the junction

There used to be at least one stall at the Wednesday market. I always go to the shop Msg.2 as above. Th entrance is so small you could walk right past if your not careful, but much bigger than it looks when you get inside.

Greenbeans, not sad at all. It's considered to be creative, therapeutic, extremely good exercise if you suspect your might be starting to get a bit of arthritis in your hands. Plus local charities love hand made knitted toys for their Christmas Bazaars. Not sad at all - in fact a win, win situation all round! Good luck.
