Hi, just wondered if anyone could let me know what airlines are currently operating direct flights to Scotland? I would prefer to fly from Larnaca rather than Paphos as it's closer, but will consider anything - when i search the fares are very expensive!!!! I would be travelling alone with 2 infant children so really don't want to have to fly to London, or anywhere like that - saving money by connecting separate flights with kids just not worth the hassle! Do any flights allow me to literally move from one plane to the other? That might be ok...? Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks everyone - just in need of a little 'home' time to see my mum! You know how it is sometimes! Any info much appreciated! Thanks x

Hi, I fly from Glasgow to Larnaca quite a lot and the only airline I have evr found is Thomascook. You can also book through Thomson which sometimes works out cheaper but still fly a thomascook plane. The Larnaca flights stop at the end of Oct for the winter so your only other choice after that is London or Paphos

Thomas Cook fly from Larnaca to Glasgow Jet2 fly from Paphos to Glasgow and EasyJet fly from Paphos to Edinburgh My wif uses http://www.skyscanner.com for good prices. If you have the time try Luftansa from larnaca to Frankfurt then on to Edinburgh |

greenbeans. Last year I came back Edinburgh to Amsterdam with Easyjet and then Amsterdam to Ercan with Corredon airlines. Price was good and no delays, although I did have a 3 hour stopover in Amsterdam which may suit you with the kids. Chris

I have been looking at airflights.co.uk and unfortunatly am unable to get from Cyprus to Scotland return but can get Scotland to Cyprus and it would work out at 419 pounds sterling for three adults, childen over 2 are classe as adults. That is flights out of Glasgow. Their telephone number is 01702 393939. There is a charge of 25 pounds for baggage. Perhaps if you rang them you could arrange your flights from Cyprus over the phone or one of the more PC buffs on here could see how to do it by computer. The price of 419 for 3 persoons seems quite good. This is ABTA and ATOL protected.
