Soyz bar in catalkoy would like to state that they have never had a fight or any problems with there customers.

this is a family run bar where all ages are welcome.

We are aware that there has been some trouble in bars near by caused by late night drinking.

would be very happy for you to show us any proof and any false aligations will be reported to the police as we have worked hard to build up this buisness and do not intend to let idiots destroy it with lies.

Unfortunately we can all see what the follow-up in this thread may be. That's why I feel obliged to say it again: the C44-member "CyprusNow" has NOTHING to do with the message board http://www.cyprusnow.info . He took his nickname here when Dave Gurr, Erolz and I announced our plans for another board. His reasons are obvious, I think.

agentsuz, ignore this idiot, if you look at his priors, they are all either insulting or negative. A thicko sicko.

Hate to agree with the Brit. Basher but Hans has called it right, I should add again but I won't.

As the owners of soyz, i would like to thank Agentsuz for identifying someone spreading rumours about soyz Bar , This is a well respected establishment where in the last 18months we have not had any incidents of any sort where might suggest trouble of that nature!! So if anyone carries on with these false allegations as a Turkish Cypriot citizen i will be reporting you to the Authorities as you are trying to ruin my business reputation... All we are trying to do is run a family orientated business for all to come and enjoy a drink with some good people!! I really would like to know where Cyprus now got his facts from? Im sure all of my customers (friends) can back us up on the fact that we are'nt a troublesome Bar!!

Cyprusnow seems to be an 'agent provocateur' his only purpose for commenting on any thread is to be antagonistic. I wouldn't be at all bothered about adverse comments because sensible people will ignore them.

Keep up the good work.

We have only been to Soyz bar a few times, I commented last time I was there what a good atmosphere,

We found the family to be really lovely friendly people, The bar was not clicky in any way we felt welcome there.

The drinks prices are very very good, and we sampled one of their famous burgers again very very good.

If some one has posted an untrue comment about decent hard working people, it should be removed.

But I must add that very often from my previous experience, it will probably work to your advantage.

i think this post has raised its head because of the comments on the an absolute disgrace posting when 'pugwash' answered hodgeliz's statement 'we here in the East side have it as well with one or two "Brit" bars where loutish behaviour is also the order of the day' with the following

Message 43 the Old Mill has had the same issues and I don't feel comfortable in the Soyz bar but it is ok in the day though.

sorry i make you feel uncomfortable!

Well, I have little respect for countries in which I do not reside, Is that better?.. I also have little respect for authoritarian nonsensical demands ..But, Hey Ho, each to their own ..My home is wherever I live, and I treat it with respect,be it Africa, Guernsey, Barbados or the TRNC .........or recently Saint- Malo

Hi MartinD41,

Never was much of a fighter. More the love em and leave em type.

Watch my lips. Respect the laws and traditions of the Country in which you reside.

Its a good basis for survival. Failing that...Kick em in the nuts, and run like Hell.

Always worked for me

Whoa,

Hang on guys. What is wrong.? Should we not respect the rules and traditions of the country that w

choosen to reside in?

What is wrong with respecting the people and traditions they live by. We are the visitors. You wonder why

Brits are not relating to Ex pats. (perhaps they think we have run out of cash).

Just a thought .........
