Pest Control advice needed re wood infestation

Can anyone assist regarding a reliable company for pest control that covers Esentepe.



A friend has contacted me because of a constant tapping noise in the roof of two bedrooms in their villa and they have found yellow dust which looks like sawdust on the beds. Someone came out and said it was woodworm but we have doubts.

hello look for little holes in the door/window frames etc any thing wooden in the house. wood worm start of as little flies that lay there eggs in wooden items untreated against them. when they hatch they and eat wood like cake, you can belive it. we had an infestation in our place in sadrazam koy but caught it early before it spread. on of our neighbors had his roof joists and frame eaten by them. he had the lot changed as it could have caved in. the propertys were not older than ten years. but they were never treated in the first place.. we used orkin in kyrenia to treat our house which should kill the pests. but call them as they can come and have a look to what is your problem if you have one at all. they are an honest outfit, the boss is mr firat, try and see what they say. but dont leave it to long...good luck

Any other suggestions would be useful as I have promised to get the villa treated as soon as possible.

I noticed there is a pest control company near to the Bellapais traffic lights. I don't know if this is the same company as message 2. There is also a pest control number in the buzz book 0542 815 5756

I called Orkin and they attended within a few hours for an inspection. I cannot fault the man that came out and he put me on to his manager who spoke perfect English. She fully explained what treatment could be done and gave good advice. No charge for the call out.



There are so many bad reports about services out here that I think it is right to praise a company that delivers a professional service. From my experience I would recommend Orkin if you have a pest problem.
