| anybody tell me where to buy bread flour? (not the stuff for ordinary baking) ...I have seen the kits but just want the flour also: does anyone know what is turkish for "bread flour"? then I can ask! thanks |

| the only place i know that sells it is the big supermarket near to ercan the orange and green looking place begins with an E Eurkole or something like that, if you look in the flour section its hand packed in 2k bags its called 'EKMEK UNU' i think they also do brown in the same section that begins with a K |

| They do it in Erderner Supermarket in karakum/Catalkoy it is as andrew says Ekmek Un, also in English on the packet. |

| All the supermarkets, large and small sell it. It is in the flour section and there are more than one companies that produce it. I use ARUN, it is a white bag with a broad green stripe down the left side. One side in Turkish the other in English says EXTRA WHITE FLOUR and there is a picture of bread on it. Pretty good product. Fresh yeast is also available sometimes, it's usually in the cheese fridge and look kike large OXO cubes, silver cover. I buy up packets when I see it and freeze it, then just take it out of the freezer half an hour before you want to use it. Dood luck! |

| Message 4: you can also buy fresh yeast from the bakeries - Kardesler and Ozkardesler in Lapta both sell it and they also sell bread dough if you don't want to do that part yourself. |
