Roma Msg 1 - Quick question, where are you getting your water from as many "electric showers" need a mains pressure of about 1.5 Bar or more.

I have been using an electric shower for five years with no problems so obviously the pressure is OK. This is an additional one for the spare shower room. I have somebody coming to quote tomorrow. Thanks for your replies.

I had an electric shower fitted but why I didnt have it run by gas I dont know cos that gives instant hot water from all the taps and is cheaper. Im going to enquire about changing the system to a simple Gas bottle like my friend has at his flat.

Ailletoo, Just a thought, are both showers going to be used at the same time ? If so I should make sure whoever fits it properly qualified on the electric side, because dependant on the make and model of shower, you could be talking about a loading of 15 to 20 KW if both used at the same time. Knowing how some of the Villa's have been built and wired here you could have a problem. May be an electrician can comment.
