Hi, Golden Bay beside Denizkizi 5 TL per bed. Good food and the day lasts longer as it gets the evening sun. Denizkizi is definitely NOT free - don't know the charge as we were staying in the hotel. There is a man in a hut at the top of the road charging those entering. Bafra 3 TL per bed. Still woth a visit despite the developments. Good restaurant also operated by the Belediye. DD

Surely the point is that ACCESS to all beaches should be free or subject only to a maximum charge prescribed by law. The "owners" (or franchisees) claim they are charging for sun beds, showers, etc. which is fair enough if you use them , but you should not be charged to get to the beach if you dont want the facilities. I think the distinction should be made.

When you mention charges, do you mean the charge for sunbeds and umbrellas? Or are you saying they charge just to set foot on the sand????????
