First time in North Cyprus - what to see???

Hi guys!

The next week I'm gonna be the first time in your wonderful country. Will you recommend some special places that are really worth seeing!

It'll be my birthday as well - so maybe something special at this point ?

Lots of places you can go and see,check out some of the websites by googling North cyprus. Not quite sure how you know its such a wonderful country if you have never been before??? Your posting reminds me a bit of Bonnah who posted a strange sort of question back in August.

Bellapais Abbey



Salamis ruins



Kyrenia Castle and the 2000 yr old boat



St Hilarion Castle



the drive along the mountain top from St Hilarion to Karsiyaka or the drive from Buffavento to Esentepe or Bahceli



Golden Beach, Karpas



the drive from Alagadi along the coast all the way to Mehmetcik (especially the bit between Buyukkonuk and Yedikonuk)



Vouni Palace (ruins) nr Lefke



Lefke (architecture and beatiful trees)



Nicosia walled city and charming Buyuk Han (old Ottoman inn)

and welcome to the forum

donty has prob told most of the intreresting places to go and visit,

ive seen by your profile you are quite young ansd its your birthday coming up

so ive included some places for you to go of a evening time and for your birthday

i presume you are staying in kyrenia firstly there are loads of clubs and bars to visit in and around the harbour (centre of kyrenia town) one of my best clubs has to be night park great night out they play house/rap and RnB then normally after that i go to the rocks which is a hotel/casino/club really good in their you can have a boogie or if you feel lucky go in to the casino

their are many other clubs/bars i like on the outskirts of kyrenia centre like

ice - escape - barcode and legend

if its casino's you like then dome - liman casino - grand rock casino are a good night out

now you have your days sorted and your nights especially your birthday sorted aswell hope this all helps

pressed the wrong key again, the climb to the top of Hilarion castle is great, the views are wounderful, but you do need to be fairly fit
