Our flight from Ercan leaves Ercan at 11.45am arrives in Izmir at 13.20pm due to leave for Stansted at 13.45pm we've now heard it's not leaving Izmir till 22.35 so arrives in Stansted at midnight. So we have a 10 hour wait in Izmir? Does anyone know if there's a lounge in Izmir where we can wait comfortabley. We've tried ringing Pegasus but they're saying there's nothing we can do?

There is a lounge for first class passengers not sure about any other, there are cafes but are very expensive as all airport cafes are, if Pegasus have changed the flight should they not be paying for you a meal and drink?

Something dose not sound right here..leaving Izmir 22.35. arrives midnight..So thats a 1 and half hour flight from Turkey to London ???

We're not first class unfortunately. I rang Izmir airport and they said they do not have lounge facilities? Have to take a good book!

Of course there are never any cock ups or delays at Larnaca. They are famous for it.

Christina, I have flown with Pegasus on many occassions and when a flight was delayed by a considerable time, they not only provided the passengers with a meal voucher but also a drinks/snack voucher. So you never know you could be in for a surprise!



Msg 9: Picked some friends up last week and lo and behold 'No Luggage' so yes there are no problems flying to and from Larnaca.



Worse thing is it's a long way to keep going to collect said lost luggage when firstly we are told it is there and then it is not and we have to go back again!

Christina, we live not far from Stansted and i believe no flights are allowed to arrive or depart after 23.00hrs. until 06.00.

Have you spoken to Pegasus? Igf they are no longer running the izmir flight, maybe they can switch you to the earlier 7am istanbul flight?

It is still showing in there website, so must still have some seats available.

Must say a big Thank you for your information on flights not landing in Stansted after 11pm I rang Pegasus in the UK they told me the flight had been cancelled completely? Luckiily they managed to transfer us to the 8.10am? Feel sorry for the people who are not aware it's been cancelled, they had not contacted us to tell us. So Thanks again to you and Cyprus44
