Could someone tell me how and where to renew my TRNC driving licence.

You can renew your driving licence at the tax office in Girne, the one near the state hospital. You will have to fill a form in and pay the amount due for the length of time you want to renew it for.

We did ours last week, the form is in Turkish (we got ours from the Tax office, they were on a shelf on the left handside as you go into the Tax Office payment area )so you may need help, 2 photos, copy of your passport and residency page, your current licence (not sure if you need photo copy also ) and appropriate money depending on how many years licence you want. You will get a receipt as they keep your current licence so if stopped by police etc., you can show the receipt. They said it takes about 4 weeks.

Renewed mine today, 209.30tl for 3 years.

only had option for 2 or 3 years

in and out in 15mins, girl behind counter filled in form

We did ours a couple of years ago and managed to get one for 5 years. It was the third time we had renewed them so that might have been why they let us do it for so long. Now if you can only re-new for 3 years its probably because they've changed the goalposts !!
