| Hi, I went looking around the South's computer emporiums a while ago for a new laptop... prices seemed a bit up on UK PC world which is as good a reference for prices as any. However, when I came to look at the model / revision of the CPU "chip" that was being sold in them, it was way out of line with the UK price...ie a lower grade I3 was being sold at the same price in the south as a "good" quality I5 in the UK. Which roughly put them up to E150 above their UK counterpart in price..anyone else seen this sort of thing? TonyE |

| Why not have a look round pick the one you like and get a friend to bring it out from the UK. When you claim the vat back at customs plus it being cheaper in the UK you could find the difference is 2 or 3 hundred cheaper. |
