| (I've brought this info from another post.) Nilesat is actually 3 satellites - Nilesat 101, Nilesat 102 and Nilesat 201. They are all at 7°W so it is convenient to treat them as one on your satellite box - which is almost certainly what your supplier has done. Note that a lot of the channels counted as Nilesat are actually coming from Atlantic Bird 7 (which is also at 7°W) because it's transmission frequencies are usually loaded into the list under Nilesat in your satellite box. Atlantic Bird 4A (also at 7°W) is now redundant. It is worth ensuring occasionally that your list is up to date. If you follow this link it shows all satellites at 7°W and every channel available listed by frequency. From this you can check the frequency list (TP list) set up for Nilesat in your box. (note the "Collapse Frequencies" button before the first entry - it makes it easier to note them). http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-7W.php I have the list in a Word 2007 doc if anyone wants it emailed. |
