| who uses gas water heater for instant hot water during winter ? Suggestions for a good supplier ,approximate installation and running costs please |

| I do and it's great when your solar power has'nt had much sun to provide you hot water,gas is cheaper and instant and you pay for what you use only ,using electric can work out expensive if forgoten on for me the electric is okay for a top up in the evening if you dont have gas I have hardly used electric this year and got thro 2 gas cylinders call celal 0533 8602754 there are in lapta just about opposite the petrol station nr starling i paid £200 with instalation if i remember correctely and he speaks good English |

| We had ours fitted last year, best decision i have made. On average i use 1 gas bottle a month and the remainder left in the bottom of the bottle is then used for the oven. Far cheaper then using the immersion and constant hot water. |

| I had mine installed by Ersem Trading Alsancak/Lapta. Cost was about 1,200tl, including outdoor cabinet and extra pump. Really worthwhile. If I have any complaint it's that the system is supplied from the cold water tank. Had it been from the hot water tank I think it would have been cheaper to run. I queried this with an English plumber and he confirmed that this is the way it's done here, cold water supply that is. T |

| Update - - - - went to the Yapi market in Lapta village ,on the same parade as the post office,this afternoon.The guy in there is always really helpful and genuine,quoted us 800 tl for heater,outside cabinet,all parts fitting and labour costs,apologised because he couldn't get it fitted today ,so he has arranged for fitting tomorrow ( Sunday!!! ) Result!!! thanks again for all your help. |
