May be slightly biased, but there is only one true boot sale and that is the one in Alsancak, by far the busiest on Sundays, there was over 43 cars last week, and it was buzzing all morning, expecting another very busy week on Sunday, with many bookings already in (Mo informs me), only 5tl a car, large parking area for buyers, re-extended this week to cope with demand. Delicious burgers and bacon butties at Arif's Wacky Shacky, teas, coffees etc. Too many different items to list from bric a brac to craft, along also with clothes etc etc, so definateley worth a visit for a wardrobe clear out. Phone Mo to book your space when ready on 0533 8459274.

If you could post directions too it may be helpful for anyone that's not familiar with where you are and wanting to pop on Sundays? )))

I'm obviously biased but as far as markets go I like our one at the Chateau Lambousa on Saturdays.

Over 100 stalls weekly and currently over 2,000 customers passing through.

Over 9 donums of parking with the market set in really nice surroundings. Huge variety of food on offer from sausage-rolls to high-end gourmet fare.

TL15 for a good-sized stall with chair.

Tel: 0533 873 0301 for details.

Hi Whataview,

The Sunday car boot sale is just off the main road next to the Pine bay hotel in Alsancak. If you are coming from Kyrenia, pass the signs for the Mercure hotel in Karaoglanoglu, pass the arch on the main road, you will come to Pine bay, turn right down the dirt road.

Any problems call Mo 05338459274

Hi there, Carpenters Friday market at Karaoglanoglu is only small but it is absolutely free!!! It costs you nothing but your time, but you do have to provide your own table. If you want details you can call Pam on 05338305375.

Nice clean toilets at the Car Boot on Sunday behind Pine Bay Hotel, as they let us use their toilets.
