Remembrance Sunday lunch - new venue, new price

The Remembrance Sunday Lunch which is to follow the Remembrance Sunday service at the Old British Cemetery has now changed venue and price.



The event has been organised by the RBL Kyrenia Branch but is open to anybody. There are up to 200 places available.



There will also be a presentation of the Elizabeth Cross at the lunch, a first in the TRNC.



Initially the meal was booked at the Jasmine Court hotel at the price of 45TL for a 3 course lunch.



The venue has now been moved to the Ship Inn in Karaoglanoglu at a price of 30TL for the same lunch.



The menu includes a soup starter, chicken main course with all the trimmings followed by apple pie.

Anybody who has already booked and paid for a ticket will be reimbursed the difference.



We will need to know the numbers asp for catering purposes so please respond by Monday if possible.

Brian, have just found the info oon the Internet! The medal is awarded to honour families of the War dead since the 2nd WW> What a superb gesture.
