I haven't myself, but know quite a few people who have and say it is a very good service.

Coaches are the best you will see here.



The fare from Ercan to Girne is 13.50TL and takes just over an hour.



If you are thinking of using this service I have just picked up a time table and get let you have the details if needed.

The pick up point from Girne is at the dolmus stop just beside the Colony Hotel.

There is also a shop called Kibhas Ltd in a small parade by the dolmus stop where you can purchase a ticket before the coach arrives.

If the office is closed you can purchase a ticket from the coach driver.



The coaches departing from Ercan are parked to the left of the car park outside arrivals.

Compared to 120YTL taxi fare to Alsancak, the shuttle is well worth having a go.

Thank you for posting the link for members interested in using the shuttle service.



Over a period of time I have picked up the time table cards that they issue from the shop/office in Girne and have noticed that the card states more shuttle services/times than the web site.



It could be that the web site is not updated as regularly as the cards

or it could be that the times change with the seasons (summer/winter service).



The card issues phone numbers (8157248 or 8157287 for Girne office) so it might be an idea to either ring or collect a card nearer the time members thinking of using this service are travelling to confirm the times.



The card I have the time table on was picked up during the summer months so I will call in today and pick up another one to see if the times have changed for the winter months and if they are different from the times I have already given, I will update this post.

Update.....



I have just returned from Girne and I went into the shop/office where I spoke to a very nice lady who spoke English.



She confirmed that the times on the card available from the shop/office are correct and the coaches run to the times shown all year round.



I pointed out that their website does not show as many shuttles running as it does on the card time table.



She smiled and said "I think maybe little problem on web site!!"

This may be a silly question, but does the bus stop anywhere else or does it only do a drop off in Girne?

It stops in a few villages along the way, but i can't remember the names, sorry...you could ask in the shop that sells the tickets, or call them.
