They are adjacent to different Cities/Towns! That should have a bearing surely?

On a personal note I prefer the Acapulco. You cannot beat the attention of the staff, the food and the fantastic beach. However I do also like the Salamis, so you will not go wrong on either stay !!

As Giles says you need to decide which city you would prefer first as both are good. Personally I prefer the Famagusta area so Salamis would be my choice.

Lorenzo, i personally havnt been to Acapulco hotel, though i have been to Salamis Bay Conte, and it is shite!!!! geared up for the Turks, from living here 10 years i have been hearing good things about the Acapulco, though as it is an all inclusive hotel you are not allowed to take food or drink in with you. Enjoy your stay.

Hmm I can only comment on the Acapulco and personally I enjoy the Kyrenia area to Famagusta. The Acapulco is a lovely place, sometimes a little too busy but has atmosphere, a butlins sort of environment at times The beach is lovely, the food good and the staff are welcoming. If you have children the Acapulco would be ideal.

If you are looking at Famagusta area, look at the Palm Beach. Think its now open but you will need to check. On the beach and lots of lovely shops and history around it. It has just had a 2 year long re furb!

As someone who goes to the Acapulco two or three times a year for the beach facilities and uses the Casino quite regularly what sticks out is the Brits are very much in the minority now, it seems to have been taken over by our Russian friends. Overprices for food and drinks but still a very comfortable complex.

Just back from 4 days at the Salamis Bay Hotel. Despite what people say - we found it to be a lovely hotel. We had a great room overlooking to pool and sea (ask for one) and quite delightful food. Lovely public areas and great pools and beach. It is inclusive which means that you can eat and drink (local stuff) as much as you like. 5 Star? who the hell knows! There doesn't seem to be any standard for hotels here. Is it like the Grovenor House Park Lane London (5 stars)? No. But we thought that it was good value for money. A great deal cheaper than the Grovernor too!. When we were there I felt as though we were the only Brits - mostly German. Pays your money..... Not been to the Acapullco but heard good reports
