There will be a blood donor day at Girne state hospital on Saturday November 19. This was originally due to be held on November 12, however the Ministry of Health requested the date was changed to conicide with the opening of the Girne blood bank.



The blood donor day will start at 10am until 1pm.



There is no specific age limit here, as long as you are feeling fit and healthy, the blood bank technicians will check your blood pressure before donating.



Please come along and donate a unit of blood, it could help save a life.

Oh dear - a bad day. I could end up as the weakest link if I gave an armful ofblood away on the 19th, whereas in the evening I have to be the strongest link. Hope you get aa goodly number, and if i am feeling REALLY strong I might give a drop or two away, but as I say, a bad day!
