Poor abandoned or lost dog

Waiting for a bus last night outside Elif market in Lapta strip I saw quite a large dog light brown in colour with a white blaze on the back of it's neck. It was wandering along in an exhausted and hopeless manner and came and sat beside me. Each car and person that passed it scrutinised and looked hopeful then drooped to the ground in a truly hearbreaking way. I was so upset, this dog has clearly been dumped or is lost and was looking for it's owner. I've never seen an animal look so sad. I wish I was in a position to take the dog home but I am not. I wanted to post this on here as I hope that mybe the dog is lost and it may be reunited with its owner.

Poor, poor dog, cruel and uncaring people if they did abandon it.

It is truly awful and so heart rending that no matter how we treat these dogs they still crave human companionship and love. I hope he is re-united soon and that he wasn't just dumped.

Can you contact KAR and explain the situation to them please. From your description of the dog and its behaviour it does appear to be yet another "dumped" dog. It will need to be picked up because it will start wandering across that very busy road and end up in the same condition as a similar dog on the by-pass last week. Thanks.
