Having been asked numerous times, and to pass the winters days or evenings, I would like to hold classes for those who have always wanted to play guitar/bass/drums solo or in a band. The classes, open to all ages (catagorised), will be held in our studio at times to be arranged. Just to keep this at the top:

How many musos do you think that you can take and what do you want people to bring in the way of instruments/amps ect. I guess what I am asking is what facilities do you have available?

I have in my collection a 12 string acoustic, a 6 string semi-acoustic, a decent electric and a small practice amp that I am willing to bring along for others to use (plus a few cans of beer!)

message 24 Dave, I have a full studio complete with 5 Kw pa system, foldback etc ! various SM58's but would be nice for people to bring own instruments, effects, and mike stands ( short of them.) Obviously the best way forward is to all meet at the studio to discuss instruments and a mutual time etc. Trust you to choose slide guitar thats a specialist subject ! will e mail Seasick Steve ha ha ! Yes a friend of mine has a 15 year old who is new to the drums but is gonna be fab, i will get her to give you a call.

and i have been trying to learn the bass for months if only i had time to pick it up lol

Nothing that cannot be sorted out even if if you you have to resort to a dustbin and a few biscuit tins but you will have to supply your own sticks. Seriously when Barry organizes the first get together I am sure that a lot of those problems can be sorted.
