Thank you to the players who took part in last nights crib night at The Lodge - it was good fun.

We were thinking of changing the night to a Tuesday - please let us have your thoughts on that.

Yes it was a realy great night, we both enjoyed it and looking forward to playing again, Tuesdays will suit us fine.

Hi there, just a thought for future nights. You may just get more people interested in playing 'crib' if you had it on other nights other than Tuesday's or Thursday's. The reason being that the TRNC East, Pool & Darts league, play their games on those nights. If you changed your night to say either Monday's, Wednesday's or Friday's, then you may get more people to play 'crib' who are normally tied up with either, or both the pool and darts leagues. I play both pool and darts but would be interested if the nights didn't clash.

pammick - its a good point but we are also governed by venues that can provide enough tables and room for the players to move around without disrupting other customers/diners.

I shall check with The Lodge for Fridays - Mondays they are closed. Weds they have their Quiz. If anyone can think of, or would prefer, an alternative venue in Catalkoy then please suggest it.

It was the 1st first crib night so i am sure we will all learn and come up with new ideas as we go along. As long as people enjoy it is the main thing.

Glad you enjoyed it nelson -maybe one of you two will win the play off next time (if there is no outright winner !) Tt will be Tuesday 15th for the next crib night. Then we need to decide if it is weekly or fortnightly. Speak soon
