Teams consist of up to 6 players, little people aged under 15 will not count as team players. No penalties will be applied to teams up to 6 palyers and no compensation points will be awarded to teams with fewer players. The quiz comprises 6 rounds of 10 moderate questions, 1 round of general knowledge questions and 5 rounds of subject rounds additional to a table-top throughout the quiz. Time allowed for each round will be approximately 10 minutes and each team have the opportunity to play a joker for double points on any one of the 6 quiz rounds. There will be a supper break between rounds 3 & 4.



Apart from the accolade, the quiz's winning team will receive a cash prize dependent upon the number of competing players. This is a charity quiz on behalf of the Royal British legion.

At the end of the quiz there will be a Card Draw game.

This quiz clashes with another, well established quiz in the same area. Where is the logic in that?

The RBL quiz is only on once a month and no matter which day of the week is chosen, it will always clash with something. We do try not to conflict with events held by other charities though ;-)

Yes, I am sure you will clash with someone whichever night you choose.



However, there are many established quizzes that take place on Wednesdays. Many of the people who go regularly to these quizzes would welcome the chance to support your quiz and the RBL. A new Quiz and quizmaster is always a welcome challenge. However, we cannot do so because we are already quizzing on that evening. I may be wrong but I think Thursday might have been a better choice.

Well having said Thursday would be a better choice, I have to eat my words as now I realise that the Mixed darts is on Thursdays. Hey Ho, you can't win! Good luck with it anyway.
