I've got an old chunky TV and cabinet which I'd like to get rid of. Just wondered the best way to do this.

If the tv works then take them to a charity shop.

To dispose of then call the local municipality and they will collect from you. Alternatively go to Dikman dump and leave there.

The tried and tested method in Lapta (and many other areas) is to put this kind of thing outside in the street and you will find that it gets 'recycled' very quickly!

I was told that you can't just go to Dikmen dump. Its not like the UK where its open to the public. Make a call an it will be collected from you.

Thanks for the suggestions. TV does work but the cabinet is glass fronted and made for the TV so don't think it would look good seperated from telly.

Can't take it to the dump as it wouldn't fit in the car!

Does someone have the SOS charity number?

Offer it to the Lapta Old Peoples Home if it still works.
