Hello!



Long time I wasnt here I found accidentaly old topic I guess (I cannot reply in it). Someone was looking for Polish people to speak to hang out etc (link to topic: http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/61158.asp#reply).

Well Im Polish, I live in Iskele with my Turkish husband who is police officer here.

Im looking for Polish speaking people - doesn't matter if he or she is half polish or just know Polish language.

If there are some people who wants to meet or just talk/write in polish feel free to contact with me

Also if anyone of you knows any polish people from KKTC /North Cyprus please send me information

Im not sure if the infos in previous topics are still actual but worth trying to find out!

My daughters husbands uncle(deceased) wife lives in Lapta she is polish, Danuta she has been living here since 1979.

Ewelin Msg 1 - I think there is a Czech or two living in the North too. Even though there are differences in ways and thought it is also an "Eastern European" culture and from memory much of the language is similar.

In both cases those going to North Cyprus may possibly have similar intellectual backgrounds.

Was evacuated as a child during 2nd World War.

Thats as far as my Polish goes,

Never been able to trace my ancestory tree.
