Does anyone know if the Census is definitely confirmed as taking place on Sunday 27th November. I have a plane to catch from Larnaca Airport and need to be there by 6.30pm at the latest. I understand there is a curfew between 8am and 6pm, are there any exceptions to this rule?I am not a resident here but do own a holiday home.

i really wouldnt worry , its always hit and miss, last time i waited in and no one called , my husband was out and about , i dont think it really matters, unless someone has other suggestions ?

Thanks Moxie for your comments, however, I cannot afford to miss my plane so I have to be certain about what is going to happen, as I don't even know if the border will be open for me to cross over.

Well as far as I know the Auction of Karmi/Karaman homes (ROBB) is taking place on Sunday 27th Nov at the coffeee shop opposite Girne Court, would that be happening on the same days as the census? If so, I guess a lot of us wont be at home.

The census is happening on the Sunday 4th December, so don't worry, also if you have a valid reason to travel I am sure there is not a problem.
