| This is a Little Owl and they are not particularly nocturnal. I often saw them, and heard their screeching call, in daylight in the UK. |

| That's amazing Hans! And what a coincidence - because I also saw a bird of prey today, sat on one of our window ledges below......yes, you've got it......an aircon unit! They must really like aircons It didn't even move when I climbed on the roof to replace the tiles dislodged in last night's storm! In fact it's still there! Can anyone identify it for me? http://postimage.org/image/boc0hsolj/ Just to help with the identification, it's about a foot high, and appears to be made of some sort of lightweight plastic - and NO, the pigeons take absolutely no notice of it... |
