| This has got to be a wind up, not spelling Girne correct and not knowing she got a Visa on entering the TRNC at the border. |

| another crude piece of disinformation from the usual wind-up merchant, probably born of frustration with the staus quo yes there are restrictions between north and south: mainly if you hail from outside the eu and arrived at ercan or some such and want to cross to the south ...on the other hand north cyprus offers visa-free access to russians for example provided they travelled via turkey...a major inducement whereas to reach greek cyprus direct they need to go through a visa application process and I understand that has got a bit tougher recently of course a lot of the border problems result from the non-recognition policy pushed by nicosia oh and there is a case for calling the green line a border if you take your cue from stelios of easyjet |
