Did they really address the issues? it was difficult to separate ideology from practicability.

Excellent posting. It is good to see a constructive and positive movement, in the midst of so much negativity, which usually surrounds discussions on The Cyprus Problem. Within that we can cope with a little ideology. wyn

How frustrating - despite putting up my sound to 100% and the sound on the video to full, no sound at all. Going to try Utube instead

Thanks for sharing kelly25. Its interesting that the group have bound themselves together through an anti capitalist movement. That fits with things that are happening around the world. Rightly they want to have their say and don't want foreign powers occupying them and using their country for their own ends. I really like their tone. They are not seeking justice and punishment but looking to forgive and forget. They both sound very human. The TC speaker humanised the settlers after the questioner had dehumanised them. The young TC's question about language makes sense. They need to learn each others language. I see Russia are trying to move in by offering the Cypriots a 3.5 billion bail out. The GC made an interesting point about GC's going from farmers to rich through tourism. They missed the industrial revolution so they have not mentally matured. This guy knows his stuff. The TC is probably right about a community story not a political one

Paul, the subject is dogged (!) with complications... hence the lack of apparent of interest.
