|yes, Barons Theatre was flooded. Yes it was a mess. Yes it stunk to high heaven, but yes, Weakest Link will happen. Unless more rains floods it again. Hair was torn out this morning and then stuck back on again as a wonderful man called Dave came with his sucking machine and got rid of the water. Friday is drying out day, and Saturday is masses of air freshener day, cos THE SHOW WILL GO ON. and of course it matters for the panto rehearsals. Great team work going on at Lamboussa.

Main reason for writing here is that Cyberspace lost a lot of my Star contributions, part of which was to remind you of Weakest link and to get a reminder that it is almost a sell out. Tricia will be selling tickets at Lamb ousa Saturday morning, or ring her or me.

Now I must take a look at some questions.

Sorry to be pedantic Marion, but the battle of Dunkirk was from 26 May to 4 June 1940.

I hope I'm not being stupid, but if there's a problem with damp and smells in the theatre, why don't you have the evening at the Waterfront. ?

Marian, or even move to the Girne Theatre, if it's available of course?

We will just have to all turn up with pegs to put on our noses if the smell is that bad!

It's not smelly - it's amazing what a little "Shake and Vac" will do! Now that's giving my age away!!!

O.K. guys, I have a full report that all is well. No wet, no pong, and an auditorium just waiting for you all. I said all would be well, cos it has to for the turtles. A last minute change of venue would have made all of us the weakest links.

so roll on up. Of course if you want to invest in some air freshener or Chanel 5 to bring with you, feel free, but i am assured all is now well. Tricia told me - and I HAVE to believe tricia.

and I hope that the almighty behaves with the weather in the mean time.???????????
