muffin , you would be better off buying a new one. beko give you 3 years guarantee. as workmen [ some not all] don't always give guarantee's..

ours broke down yesterday. wont do the final spin. ordered a new one from beko... 6kg wash with 800 spin speed. 700tl. (just in case you wanted to know a price for a new one.)

try taking out the filter at the bottom o the washer,normally on the front of the machine and clean out all the debris that collects in there.I had a problem on mine and when I phoned a waher repair man he told me 80% of stoppages are caused by this filter clogging up,shuts everything down apparently.Give it a try, nothing ventured nothing gained

ps..if the filter is on the front of your machine,just tilt it back to stop all the water rushing out and then pull out the filter......
