Carole and I would like to thank, on behalf of the Association, all the ladies who participated in this campaign and also for making a donation to the Association for organising it, the response has been fantastic.

We would like to inform you that this campaign is now finished.

We cannot expect (even though we would like to) all the hospitals to keep this going as they were all making loss so if you did not get your appointment booked, then please look out for our next campaign.

We are aware there were a few hiccups along the way, but what runs smoothly in the TRNC?

If you have any comments to make on how we could improve anything for any future campaigns, as we are learning as well, then please email us on:

Thanks to two caring ladies for caring so much for others to have organised it. Quite a marathon. also one must not forget our lovely nurse Awful and her 'awful' caring over Lapta way. Quite a trio of fab ladies who have done so much for us all. Thanks girls, especially as those who know you know that you have challenges of your own!

As one of the ladies who spent from 9am until 3.15pm today (with a break of hour and a half) for staff to have their lunch break, I would like to say how impressed as was at Cyprus Life. In the majority of tests and examinations the results were available very quickly and we were able to bring mammogram, chest x-rays and ultra-sound back with us. The results of urine, stool and blood tests were explained in detail prior to us leaving. Only one test could not be determined until about 3 days time. For 200tl plus a donation to the charity at our discretion, it could well have been a life saver for some people. This day would have cost around £400 at a private hospital in the UK, and I would guess that results would not have been available so quickly.

Congratulations and thank you to all those who have been responsible for the check up coming into being.

I would just like to say that I totally agree with everything said by Tango1. My check up went smoothly and efficiently and my thanks go to all the staff at cyprus Life as well as you wonderful girls who set the ball in motion. Well done, all of you! Now my next challenge is to get my other half to get himself checked out!

Thanks for this great thing!

We went last Saturday to the Kamiloglu Hastahanesi... it took not longer than 1 hour...

They told us it will take 7-10 days to get the results. They are going to call us and then a doctor will talk to us.

You all did a great job!

Thanks to all of you involved in organising this campaign. I went to Cyprus Life Hospital and was impressed by everything that was done and the short time in which everything was completed. Such a worthwhile thing to do and for such a small price - what price our health? Thanks also to the girl at the hospital who acted as a transaltor when speaking to the doctor after results were available.
