If you have old gold jewellery lying around the house doing nothing for you, why not trade it in for some extra cash? 9, 18 or 24K etc, perhaps complete or broken chains, ex-valentine/engagement/wedding rings, rings missing stones, single earrings, I don't mind, I will give you a quote.



With the price of gold at an all time high, there's never been a better time for you to clear out those drawers and jewellery boxes.

Unfortunately this type of advertising over in the UK has caused no end of problems. My Mum was burgled recently and all that was taken was jewellery. The CID officer said that since the recent advertising campain of 'cash for gold' in the UK they had seen a significant increase in the number of break-ins purely for these items - they were not interested in TV's hi-fi's etc. just your jewels and cash!

The current spot price for gold is £34.81 per gram. That's the market value for pure gold. To work out the market value of your gold take the Karat, divide by 24 and multiply by the spot price. That'll give you value per gram for your type of gold.



The price I will quote will take account of the market price for the day on which you come to me.

I would shop around I did here in UK on the same day I visited 7 jewellers and got quoted different price eventually got £1700 for what I had paid £800 for approx. turkish 14 carat gold.

gold has dropped to around 1700 $ to the ounce but 9ct stuff is mainly trash as Mr G Ratner said some time ago you need to buy 18 or above for investment, there is no VAT on British Sovs as they are legal tender, Before making any decisions check the websites re gold prices. If you have an I Phone get a free app. Gold has dropped over the last week

When you convert the price of gold to GBP and to grams when dealing in smaller quantities, the drop in the price over this past week has been very nominal.



Even with 9K, there is a quantity of gold in there and as a seller you might as well get what you can for it.
