Estate Agents: Anyone heard from Helmsley Estates?

Hi all,



We arranged to rent a place from Helmsley Estates about 2 months ago, and paid a one month deposit (they requested more but I told them we would pay a bond in advance and rent in advance closer to the date).



We have gone around to the place this week and discovered that the people who were in the place are not going to move out (the place they were going to move into isnt available anymore). These people said they had been trying to contact Helmsley Estates to let them know, and we have been trying to contact Helmsley Estates for the last month or so as well.



It appears the office on the road up to Bellapais has been closed.



Anyone else had similar issues with these guys? It is only 450 Quid, but I would guess they have ripped off others similarly. We dealt with some guy called Tonguz.
