you answered your own question it is part of iplayer memory , seem to remember it only stores ( or did ) for 30 days. The following link will take to to a site about WM Capture which will rip files from iplayer to your pc........need to be tech savvy though ! hope this helps and.......................................goodluck !! lol

BBC iplayer downloads are kept in My Documents\My Videos\BBC iPlayer\repository\ folder . I do not know if you can change the folder iplayer uses for downloads but it is possible to move your whole mydocuments folder to some other folder or drive. If you do this, your whole mydocuments including iplayer downloads can be on external drive. However, all iplayer downloads are protected with DRM (Digital Rights Management) and they will delete themselves after expiration unless you can do something about it. Kemal

Kemal is the constant buffering and breaking of the signal we are getting on live TV still down to an issue at the BBC?

All Multimax connections come 'pre-tapped' to BBC iplayer . You do not need expat shield or any other VPN, you just run BBC iPlayer with your Multimax connection and it works... Kemal

I have just recently had Multimax installed, still cannot get over how great the connection is. No problems whatsoever with BBC I player or ITV I player at all. However, cannot get the Channel 4 player to work, and I do love Come Dine with Me and Location Location and would love to be able to get into the Channel 4 Player too. Is this a VPN issue or a Channel 4 one Kemal do you know?

flutterby the 'transparent' VPN that multimax provides only works with certain UK sites, and channel 4 is not one of them. By 'transparent' I mean you do not have to set anything up on your PC, it just works. However MM also offer a free 'manual' VPN that you configure and run on your PC as needed and this will work with all UK sites including channel 4. There are details on this 'manual' VPN here. http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/75479.asp

transparent VPN, called tvMAX with Multimax currently only works with BBC and iTV and you can watch these channels without any configuration whatsoever. As for everything else, we have a free manual VPN service that you have to configure on your computer. You can find details on the link erolz have provided. Kemal
