My thoughts too Sue But I got the one on what to do if someone is having a heart attack right.



But no one can ever find us where we are here.So thank goodness I have not needed the 112 service thus far.

I keep in date every year (qualified first aider) and it should be taught to as many people as possible - it is (excuse the pun) a life skill.

I have a slight problem with the advice given on the site.... assessing the danger is not always for the non-professional and also delaying calling 999 while you look for someone else to do so is simply wrong. Take the initiative and make the call yourself.... Make sure the ambulance is on its way. By all means take into account clear and present danger but don't delay the call.

Iv never called emergency here but in uk u get asked a thousand questions. If get someone else to call them then you can help the people in need. Or visa versa. I do my first aid every three years. it's an important skill to have, as jonesy299 said it is a life skill

Groucho, when it says 'get help' it means you could call for help, also making sure it is safe in the event of an accident is paramount, if you don't check you could become a casualty yourself.
