Not just for my fellow Scots, but for all.

'Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Patras in Greece, Amalfi in Italy, Luqa in Malta, and Esgueira in Portugal. He was also the patron saint of Prussia and of the Order of the Golden Fleece.'

Will do Les,

Have caught a lovely fat haggis tonight ready for the pot tomorrow. (Think it might be one of Navek's that escaped earlier this year) Hope all well with you and the missus, will try to catch up next time you are over.

I didnt realise you had to catch haggis (?s). Surely these days they are bred in captivity?

Have a good St. Andrew's day anyway,

BizziLizzi,

The wild ones are the best, the others a bit tame.

I think you got the wrong species Rowlo. Haggis never defacate on sand, preferring public footpaths. These were probably Jabberwocky, which can be quite tough. Marinade them overnight and cook over slow heat, serving with an apple in their mouths.

Just back from a Haggis Hunt, no luck :-(

Logged on to

http://www.drambuie.com/cms-uploads/pdfs/Drambuie_Cocktails.pdf

and started at the top

When I went for some ice, discovered a wee Haggis, still hibernating in the freezer,

what a stroke of luck, usually they're out in the Glens by now.

Well he's had his chips, it's sayonara to you my little friend.

Happy St Andrews Day to one and all.
