Just a thought. Why don't you maintain this rate all year and build up a regular loyal client base. If you can afford to do it now surely it's the same in summer.



I met a taxi driver in Florida this year who operates for free and we used him every night. He accepts tips only. He makes more money this way. (Only in America could they win with this one).

The going rate is usually around £50 each way. £40 is ok. I pay £25 each way but I hire a car from the same firm.

Welcome to a world of competitive business. If more people did what I did in TRNC there would be less complaints about being ripped off. Come on folks, are you really getting a good deal or do you just think it's a good deal? Challenge at every opportunity. Pull out of a deal if they don't bargain with you. Trust me they bargain with there own. Stop being the cash cow that provides the easy pickings.

What to do. Ask if they can match a-one on rates and deals if they say no then confirm to them that a-one wil get your business. That is of course unless somebody with a good buisness acumen comes in at a better rate than a-one. The general principle adopted at present appears to be, as few cutomers as possible with as much profit. Think about it when you are being smiled at and offered coffee.

Well I am NOT on commision but appreciate good service when I get it, Taxi Express certainly do that! We arrived the other day at Ercan our bags did not, the taxi express guy waited patiently outside and was just going inside to find out if we missed the flight. I'm the first to compain if I get crap service in this country, thank heavans we have at last found a good reliable taxi service.

'the simple question ' how much from larnaca after march 15th ??? my oppinion is anyone that travels on a very regular basis , taxi express should maintain the generous figure of £40.00 ... ALL YEAR ROUND...especially if its one person with a suitcase / [even 2 with normal bags] that way you will have a very happy and regular client base throughout summer and winter ...there is nothing wrong with making your normal charges [£50-£55] to one time travellers or holiday makers .?... you could even charge excess for extra bags or parties over 2 ??? you would price most of the 'suedo friends and suedo relatives' with no taxi license or proper insurance out of the airport runs business ...me for one and lots of other villa owners would join your club ... cheers ...

I was desperate to reach you qand tried the old number. I am now fixed up. shame. Other companies wanted 50 and 60 pounds. I think it is marvellpous that you offer this and maybe I will use your services on my return to lARNACA. I cannot understand why some companies are charging £60 for this, which is crippling to someone travelling on their own.

As for picking you up on the day, normally this would be an extra transfer as we usually go full and return full. We would only be able to take you without extra cost if our vehicle is going empty and you meeting our driver in Kyrenia otherwise this would cost you an extra transfer to Larnaca.
