Hi all evergreenites Just got back from the trnc Weather fantastic, started mid 80's and gradually reduced , although by Saturday the weather was noticably cooler and a breeze made the sea slighlty choppy, unsuitable swimming for minors . Just completed on our apartment Minor snagging still to be done Aircon units where being fitted during our visit White goods due for arrival in next week or so. Management company should be in situ any time Furniture delivered from Olgun Group, superb service, qaulity products Electricity meters connected to apartments, lights and sockets working but the power not pumping the running water supply yet, connection for this willl be done within next two/three weeks Jacuzzi will be ready within two weeks or so Main Pool now ready, filtration system fitted. Please note Although Evergreen have installed the meters, You will have to transfer ownership of the electricity meter to your name from evergreen at the electricy office in Girne, you will have to pay the full connection costs as you are in affect transferring ownership of the supply, the visit to the electricity office can be a little daunting and stressfull, set aside 2 hours for this experience. Evergreen contacts where very helpfull during the visit, some very minor concerns which should be adressed in due course Down stairs bedroom partion still to be done Railings to master bedroom balcony still to be done overall the development is nearing completion, landscaping and external furnishings once done will enhance the finish Regards Panhandler

Don't know whether you have noticed, but there are now at last half a dozen threads on this forum relating to Crystal Bay owners, and mesages are getting rather jumbled up, so I have set up a forum on msn with headings for each particular project to try and simplify contact between ourselves. If you are interested please spread the word, the more members the better. I am not trying to influence which site people wish to make contact on, but thought it would be easier if we had access to ALL the Evergreen projects for discussions and feedback in one place. The option/choice is there. http://groups.msn.com/crystalbayviewnorthcyprus/messages.msnw

panhandler, Thanks for the info, could you clarify the bit about electric connections. From what I undrestand we have to pay E'green £425 for connection of electric & meters, do we have to pay Kibtec the same to transfer into our names?

Hello again Panhandler, Yes - the first time I noticed work being done was leaving the beach after sunset - 6 'ish - and there were lights on to allow the men to work. Also noticed loads of air con units stacked by wall waiting to be fitted in last days - and a lot of work also going on in other ground floor apartments in your block. All positive stuff! We had a really good visit - weather got slightly cooler but we still ventured into the sea and had several B-B-Qs on Crystal Bay beach. Completed snagging and did some tidying up - just waiting for de lecky man!? Nice to meet you!
