Have I missed something or has the price of a haircut shot up since last year?! I was getting a haircut and shave for 20 TL..... prices can't go up with the exchange rate.. .coz they never come down when it goes the other way.

I wish you all the best Izzy, and please do not take this personally, but 30 TL is way too much for me to pay for a haircut and shave.

Thought the government regulated prices of haircuts. Our local barber, in Karsiyaka, charges TL15 and is very good.

I do think the prices have shot up. The barbers used to charge 5 - 10TL for a cut... OK that was in 2005, but there is a world recession on. Anybody told them?

Any man who needs a barber to shave shouldn't be allowed to use the term - 'man'!
