if anyone wants any furniture made i can recommend cyprus furniture in karakum we have just taken delivery of a coffee table,tv cd unit and sideboard all made to order and very good qualitiy,we gave him the design on monday delivered today.all the pieces are hand made by Ramazan and he takes a pride in the products he produces.GREAT SERVICE.

I can reccomend too, in 2006 when we bought our bungalow Ramazan made table to our measurements, 6 chairs covered with the fabric on my sofas Television table, lamp table and sideboard. All beautifully made and delivered in five days. I can't praise him enough, such a nice man.

No he has his own little showroom with a large work shop behind in Karakum



If you are travelling from Girne to Catalkoy, he is on the left hand side of the



road.

You will find him just after Rafters sign on main road Girne-Catalkoy

look for wooden chests on side of road.

He is really lovely and will make anything to your design -we took in pictures from John Lewis website - our own dimensions and they were ready in 2 days excellent craftmanship and fraction of UK price.

And he delivered everything

Alternatively does anyone recommend anyone for wrought iron cofee tables?

hi breezyboy yes he only does wooden furniture .i think most of the furniture stores do wrought iron furniture ie botannica.

As good as Cyprus Furniture seems to be, most Brits go to Ronnies Furniture - coming from Girne to Karaolanoglu, they are on the right, just a couple of hundred yards after the Ship Inn. They also have their own carpenty workshop - hence lower prices than those shops that outsource.

we had a built in wardrobe made by ramazan he came and measured up then delivered and installed,top job worth a visit to his workshop to see what he can produce.

Ramazan's a top man, if you go to his workshop he will show you some examples of furniture he makes. Some lovely carved furniture, chests etc. Well worth a look. As said previously he will also come and measure up and make fit furniture to your requirements.
