You might do well to ask in the "consulate" Bedford Square next to the tourist office and a wedding planner. Two nationalities might be more complex than most of us know about.

Go to http://www.myweddingcyprus.com and complete the request form with your details. However, if you fiance is Muslim it will not be possible for you to get leggaly married in North Cyprus (only North Cypriot Muslims can get married here)

I think it is a good idea from Flight Holiday to get in touch with London 'consulate' to get it from the horse;s mouth. What Cazleo says is quite true. Even Turks cannot marry here. they can have a celebration but cannot have the legal bit done. So, do double check. But if you want to tie the knot in U.K anbd then come out to TRNC for a celebration, then there are plenty of wedding planners who will help. Or you can do it independently. But the legal bit might have to be done in U.K or Morocco! good luck.

Why not get married in the South , then have the celebration or reception in the north. The paperwork is in English and no rescritions(as far as I know) then you get the best of both worlds. That way it will all be on a special day and not 2 ceremonies, just a thought .

If you follow Jonholmes suggestion of getting married in the south, make sure you fly into the south as they won't allow you to do the legal side of things if you fly into the north and cross the border.

Yes, and do find out what timing requirements exist in the south. Alan and I nearly got wed there years ago, but it was pre EU, so maybe it has all changed. You might have to be in the country for a certain length of time before any ceremony can be perforemed. But I am sure there is a web page to do with Weddings in the South. take a look there. again. Good luck. I think Jon's suggestion is a good one. In fact they would be in good company as that is what Jean the photographer did!

I don't think there is a time limit anymore now they are in europe , but check it out on the net , I just googled Cyprus weddings and there are loads .All with different info , maybe worth an e-mail to one. Some say no time (same day, some say 3 days)

Don't know about you, but i always believe in going to the source of information that is official. although of course we know here that each government officer can tell a different story, that is why I would suggest they go to the 'C onsulate' in London, or find the RoC official web page. Come to think of it Jean would know the answer to the south, and if anyone wanted I would ask her, but I still think going to the appropriate government office is the best way.

Marion Msg 11 - you are giving sound advice. Susan msg 1 - Why not ask a wedding planner in the North to help with the event and also maybe with contacts in the TRNC who can work with you? Maybe Teresa at http://www.WeddingsNorthCyprus.com or the others like Jade from Angelic or Carol some of the 3 or 4 who offer you services.

I've been married for years, suggest you re-think the whole plan. Blow the money on a huge cruise instead.

its an absolute nightmare getting married here - but if you ring jane butcher on 05338309938 she can help, and she's about the best one. i don't think your intended being of another nationality to you will make the slightest difference - you are both aliens here....but its a splendid place for a wedding and very reasonable, be aware of the high hikes in wedding planners fees.....and organise it yourself with just someone to chase your plans here......call jane
