Would you like to have my job? I am the laziest of the lot. I hardly ever ban anybody and hardly ever close any threads so I hardly get any vile e.mails but you should see what they get for doing their jobs properly with no pay. Specially poor Simbas gets the worst e.mails and she is called all sorts of names.

You make it sound like a call of duty. These people do this sort of thing because they love the sense of power. People who are in receipt of name calling e-mails as mentioned are usually victims of their own making. Unfortunately the mod you mention shows favouritism to her friends and is completely inconsistent.

That was a good day and that was when you realised how utterly unpopular you where. Stripped of power now on the sidelines wishing you where still pushing your sozzled weight about.

You should not feel sorry for me as I am too long in the tooth to worry about any of that sort of sentiment but yep you are right I failed as a Mod on here because I became annoyed at the crap that was and still is being posted on this board by mainly people that have no real connections with the TRNC but think that they know it all.

What do you regard as a failed forum? It is still up and running and still gaining members of the right caliber. Talk to me in 6 months time (that is if you have not been banned again).

I just wish the moderators were able to stop all the blatant advertising that blights this forums postings. I come on to the forum only to be disappointed that the majority of postings are simply adverts. It's killing this site.

Turning to the original post:

Moderators were asked by the board owner to help when the board was under attack a long time ago. We worked to remove the filth that was being posted and were largely succesful. AJ gave long and distinguished service in that effort.
